IBPS RRB PO 2025 Exam Analysis

1. Exam Pattern (Prelims)

  • The Prelims for RRB PO (Officer Scale I) has 2 sections: Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Total questions: 80 (40 in Reasoning + 40 in Quant).
  • Time duration: 45 minutes.
  • Negative marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.

2. Difficulty Level (Overall & Section-wise)

  • Reasoning Ability: Generally easy to moderate.

  • Shift 3 (22 Nov): Reasoning good attempts ~27–32, Quant ~28–33; overall 58–64.

  • Given the negative marking, blind guessing can be risky; better to attempt only when confident.
